McClatchy Announces Buyer's Exercise of Option to Extend Closing Date Of Sale of Miami Land

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The McClatchy Company (NYSE: MNI) announced today that Citisquare Group, LLC, the buyer of the 10 acres of land adjacent to The Miami Herald, has exercised its option to extend the date for closing from June 30, 2009, to a date on or before December 31, 2009, pursuant to the terms of the existing purchase agreement.
