Healthworks Enrollment

Open Enrollment for the 2010 benefits year will take place Nov. 2 through Nov. 13, 2009. Open Enrollment is the only time of the year when employees can make changes to their benefits unless they have a qualified, change-of-status event. Employees must complete Open Enrollment if they want to:

»Cover a spouse or domestic partner on a McClatchy medical or dental plan;

»Enroll in a medical and/or dependent flexible spending account (FSA);

»Change or drop their health care plan and/or dependent coverage;

»Change or waive long-term disability (LTD) or supplemental life insurance coverage; or

»Designate or update life insurance beneficiary information.
