With over two decades of experience in the media industry, Chuck Howell brings extensive expertise and proven leadership to his role as chief finanical officer of the McClatchy Media Company. Throughout his career, Howell has held executive positions spanning consumer marketing, newsstand and production operations, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management. His diverse background has enabled him to build high-performing, collaborative teams committed to excellence. Recognized for his action-oriented mindset and critical thinking skills, Howell consistently delivers value by optimizing cost savings, while enhancing partnerships with suppliers, retailers, and other stakeholders.

Howell holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Northern Iowa.
